These services focus on the protecting the critical human corporate asset. FAM believes that personal security services should be both effective and as unobtrusive as possible and that the quality and professionalism of personnel is more important than the number utilized.

Advance Survey

FAM recommends an advance risk survey be conducted prior to the arrival of any client to identify areas of concern; then determine and deliver solutions. By conducting proper surveys, risks can be identified and mitigated and time management strategies can be implemented.

  • Route Survey: Determine the safest and most time efficient route
    to and from any venues to be visited. Also included are nearest
    medical facilities, safe havens and possible areas of interest.
  • Physical Security: Visually inspect all venues where personnel
    will be visiting to ensure safe and timely access to facility, a safe and
    comfortable time at the venue and a safe and timely departure.

Personnel

FAM personnel have the experience to make your business trip or projects more productive and less stressful through rigorous advance work and thorough time management planning. We are able to effectively communicate and interact on all levels within the corporate, diplomatic and entertainment communities.

Our protection specialists have endured top-level training in specialized security measures, protective driving, emergency medicine and crisis management planning. They possess extensive domestic and international travel experience and have relevant military, law enforcement and/or government security backgrounds.

A core group of proven professionals are available for travel, supplemented by local personnel. Providing this type of service benefits the client in several ways. By having familiar faces around, the standard of service remains constant. Local personnel are familiar with the environment and are quicker to recognize anything out of the ordinary, have local contacts and resources and may have local weapons permits. Additionally, costs can be reduced by less travel and lodging expenses.

FAM believes that the traditional “Secret Service” style protection for corporations and private individuals is counter-productive, cost prohibitive and a liability as it raises the profile and visibility of the client, thus attracting unwanted attention. We do not believe that a client wants to create the impression of an oppressive show of force. An overbearing security presence can quite often result in negative perceptions by colleagues, stockholders, friends, family members, the public and even the press.

FAM has several innovative ways to provide a low profile service.
One is a “Security Concierge” service, where the security dresses and acts like a member of the executive staff; business cards have non-security titles, placing the emphasis on facilitation to provide a low profile service with a customer service priority.

Secondly, protective surveillance is a viable option, whereas no personnel are within the client’s “personal space.” Protective surveillance is focused on hostile surveillance detection. Hostile Surveillance Detection and Intervention is a crucial yet often overlooked aspect of executive protection. History has shown that prior to any organized criminal or terrorist attack the attackers conduct hostile surveillance. History has also shown that trying to stop an attack while in process is usually too late, therefore identifying hostile surveillance and intervening prior to an incident is paramount. Protective surveillance is highly recommended in high threat areas, in conjunction with the “Security Concierge,” thus providing a seamless level of security, in a discreet manner.

Secure Ground Transportation

Secure ground transportation is a critical part of a secure travel program and should not be overlooked, especially while away from the home office. FAM has security drivers that are properly trained to provide a low profile service of getting their passengers to all venues in a safe and timely manner. Automobile accidents are the leading cause of death and serious bodily injury throughout the world.

A properly selected driver has several benefits:
