Understanding The Threat
Process
All planned and organized attacks follow the same general
threat process. Whether it is a personal attack of robbery,
home invasion, sexual assault, information or identity theft,
or an organized bank robbery to catastrophic terrorist attack,
the process remains the same. This threat process may take
months, even years of preparation, or it can be conducted
within 30 seconds. By understanding how attackers chose
their targets, it allows you to reduce the chances of becoming
a victim.
